Here at Welsh Water, we’re committed to recognising and promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity and treating others with dignity and respect at all times. That’s why we’ve launched our ‘Be Yourself’ campaign – Jenna Nicolle-Gaughan, Compliance Manager and Inclusivity Ambassador explains more.
“To support our ‘be yourself’ campaign, we have pin badges available for colleagues to display on their lanyards and an electronic version to add to email signatures. The campaign hopes to encourage a culture where everyone can be themselves at work.
As an Inclusivity Ambassador, I’ll be wearing my badge with pride and encouraging others to do the same. To sign up for a badge, colleagues need to make a pledging to support one other, encourage people to be themselves and celebrate our differences. This will help to create a safe space where everyone can expect to be treated with dignity and respect, and will make Welsh Water a better place to work. We ask colleagues to embody the words on the badge through their actions, to make it clear that bullying, harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated at Welsh Water”.
