We are seeking interested applicants to be studying an Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geography or Engineering degree – that’s it!.... no prior experience needed.

Your Graduate scheme

 

Operations is a business area that has a large variety of different work streams with a number of skills needed making no 2 days the same. This is a great opportunity for someone studying science or engineering that wants to use transferable skills on a practical level working in a team dedicated to Environmental Performance.
  
This Wastewater Operational Support internship role will see the successful candidate spend time primarily with the operational team but could also spend time with Biosolids and Science and Support as development. Project is dependent on background and business need, but likely be in the area of process improvements, business efficiency and risk reduction linked to Environmental Assessment Performance.

In addition, you will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with your fellow graduates. These will allow you to develop your interpersonal and leadership skills, whilst working collaboratively with your peers.
You will also be given the opportunity to work on key business projects within your specialised field.
 
 

Good to know

 

Your internship will primarily be based North East Wales. However, on occasions and with notice you may be expected to travel to sites across the whole of Wales and its borders.
 
Recruitment process -  We are running our adverts until 8th December. Should your application meet our criteria, you’ll be sent a short assessment to complete. The second stage of assessment will be an in-person assessment centre, which likely take place at offices near Chester between February/March 2025. Further information will be provided closer to the time.
