What you’ll be responsible for
This role will see you undertaking a variety of duties, including:
• Serving customers and waiting on tables
• Assisting with food preparation/cooking before and during service periods
• Displaying food items and restocking the counter
• Ensure that tables are kept clean and available for customers
• Operating the till
• To ensure a courteous and friendly cafe service is provided to each and every customer
Previous experience of working in a cafe/restaurant/bar would be fantastic, but not essential, we will provide you with training to ensure you are comfortable in work. We would like to see applications from candidates who are positive, friendly, can work under their own initiative, and are happy to work with the public!

About you
The following experience, knowledge and skills are deemed essential unless otherwise stated:
Experience
• Catering and waiter/waitress experience - desirable, not essential
• Practical health & safety & food hygiene experience - desirable, not essential
• Working with the general public
Knowledge & Skills
• Catering customer service knowledge or specialism - desirable, not essential
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Commercial awareness
• Numeracy / till operating skills - desirable, not essential
• Ability to speak Welsh - desirable, not essential
Good to know
- We have full time, part time and seasonal positions available.
- A satisfactory DBS check will be required prior to start date for all successful applicants.
- This role is of a casual/seasonal nature. Through the busy seasons (Spring/Summer) working hours will typically fall through 5 shifts per week, shifts range betwen 7.30am - 4.30pm.
- During the off season (Winter/Autumn) working hours will typically be 1 - 3 days per week (on average). Working hours between 7.30am - 3.30pm
