Transport and Logistics are two very distinct teams. Our transport team repair and maintain over 1300 vehicles that support operations. It could be a jetting vehicle used to clear blockages in pipes, or a van transporting a mechanical fitter from one treatment works to another. These vehicles are pivotal in ensuring we can deliver this essential service. Whereas our logistics teams ensure resilience where water services are interrupted and customers may lose supply, or the logistical movement of bio-solids (the by-product of the wastewater treatment process). We did say it was varied!
