What you’ll be responsible for

As a Commercial Assistant, you will be responsible for: 

  1. Accurate processing of payments for all developer services (DS) sections.
  2. Online and telephone payment \ invoice reconciliation.
  3. Interface with PPU re BACS payments.
  4. Creation of billing documents (Invoices, quotes, and credit notes etc).
  5. Creation of SAP codes.
  6. Processing of refunds to customers as directed. 
  7. Coordinate and monitor the Developer Services time charging process. Preparing and submitting a weekly DS timesheet log. Preparing timesheet data in the required format to finance on weekly basis to be uploaded on SAP.
  8. Assisting with the recovery of outstanding developer services debt.
  9. Rebooking applications through our BPM system.
  10. Responding to day-to-day queries received via the DS revenue inbox and via teams.

About you

Knowledge, Skils & Experience 

  • Experience of using SAP, bespoke finance, and other IT systems
  • Excel – Intermediate Level
  • Ability to show initiative with the need to work within deadlines 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplined team 
  • Enthusiastic about putting our customers first every day
  • Commercially and financially astute
  • Appreciation of customer and stakeholder relationships
