What you’ll be responsible for

 

Our Cartref programme of works helps customers to identify and fix common internal leaks such as toilets and educate them in how to be more water efficient. You will support the delivery of the Cartref programme, by developing, trialling, and delivering our water efficiency support offerings, whilst promoting the wider Cartref offerings both within the company and to our customer base. Our customers range from typical domestic customers, to charities, housing associations or a local council. Your duties will include:


As a Water Efficiency Advisor you will deliver our Water Efficiency Programme of offerings, this includes but is not limited to: 

  • Water Efficiency Home Visits
  • Water Efficiency visits at Schools and other educational / public buildings. 
  • Stakeholder engagement / education on Water Efficiency.  
  • Represent Welsh Water in the community (ad-hoc), to promote Water Efficiency as well as other Welsh Water support schemes. 
  • Reporting on your delivery outputs through SAP. 
  • Install basic water efficiency products within customer properties (hose guns, shower heads). 
  • Develop new ways of educating and engaging our customer base around Water Efficiency. 
  • Support where required our Private Leakage workstream and/or Cartref programme.  
  • Support the Water Engineering team, to engage and support with industry wide collaboration works including OFWAT Innovation competitions. 
  • Participating in a 5-day flexible working pattern to meet our customer’s requirements. 
  • Undertaking any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

About you

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

 

  • A proven track record in providing excellent customer service. 
  • Enthusiastic about putting our customers first every day.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, have an eye for detail, and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
  • Environmental awareness, particularly around our Water Resource challenges, and Water Efficiency drivers.
  • The ability to work to defined deadlines and prioritise workload in order to meet those deadlines

  • Standard working pattern Monday – Friday, 8.30 – 4.30pm.
