What you’ll be responsible for
• Responsible for service providers & associated field teams involved in the operation, maintenance & repair of sewerage network assets.
• Ensuring activities are carried out in line with the management framework, procedures and monitoring plan.
• Assist the Network Manager with safe & efficient operation of the sewerage network, ensuring that all operational activities are undertaken in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.
• Actively promote environmental awareness within the business.
• Ensure all investigations, not exclusive to flooding incidents, third party associated and customer service investigations are of the highest standard and compliant with their respective audit procedures.
• Capital maintenance – identification of investment requirements to improve service and reduce costs supporting the overall Asset Strategy.
• Assist the Network Manager in accident and near hit reporting, Certificate of Isolation, Permits to Work, Risk Assessments, Management of Contractors and provide H&S support to the teams.
• Assist The Network Manager with proactively developing further the North Wales drainage and catchment groups.
• Effective Liaison with Highway Authorities with regards to Streetworks defects. Effective liaison with NDC and new connection process.
• To cover and deputise for the Network Manager as appropriate and participate in relevant regional groups as required.
• Emergency Response – provision and testing of appropriate functional contingency plans.
• To carry out any other duties as required meeting the needs of the business.

• MP/AM and local councillors
About you
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Good customer service skills
- Organised and able to work under pressure
- Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literate, with experience of Windows applications
- Hold current driving licence
Lots of general company courses will be available in this role.
Good to know
Flexible, currently 2 days in office but reactive so not set in stone.
Will need to be on standby rota, currently 1 in 8, split up into manageable days
No PWT, some overtime available but as we are reactive no PWT, working week 8-4, 8-3.30 Fridays
This is a 12 months full time contract.
