What to expect
As a Trainee Production Technician, you will operate Water Treatment Works and associated water pumping stations to company BMS and Health & Safety requirements.
This will include:
- Controlling chemical and other stock levels and consumables by control and management of purchasing via SAP. Monitoring and controlling expenditure to meet budgetary targets
- Inducting, supervising and managing outside contractors carrying out revenue and reactive capital maintenance breakdowns and projects ensuring full compliance to
- Health & Safety and BMS requirements and ensuring quality control
- To liaise with ME&I crafts team on revenue and reactive capital maintenance work
- Liaising and planning work with network supervisors and operatives to ensure uninterrupted supply when plant shut downs are required for maintenance and other associated work required on site
