What you’ll be responsible for

 

  • Waitressing, cleaning, and any other duties requested by management
  • Preparation of food including cooking hot food, serving, 
  • Organise the display /food items, drinks, snacks, cakes/ and maintain counter stock to maximise income.
  • General cleaning duties/ kitchens, café,  Grab & Go and storage areas/
  • Ensure that tables  and areas are kept clean and available for customers to use
  • To serve visitors in a polite and enthusiastic manner, and efficient service is provided at all the times.
  • To operate the till.
  • To  follow and comply with Food Hygiene and H&S regulations and all our in-house policies.
  • To Understand and follow company procedures and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure of, that at every opportunity all site facilities are promoted to encourage all visitors to make full use of all facilities to maximise income via the Grab & Go or Café an encourage bookings for events etc. 
  • To know: Who we work for, to be able to communicate and make visitors Welcome.

About you

 

  • Catering experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Enthusiasm to work in the Food or Hospitality industury is very welcome
  • Experience of working with the public/in a customer facing role is desirable
  • The ability to work under your own initiative, and as a part of the team is essential

Good to know

 

Due to the location of the site and limited public transport, a drivers license is beneficial

This is a seasonal role, which will see you working seasonally as required

The successful candidate will be subject to a clear DBS
