What you’ll be responsible for

 

This is key role where the successful candidate will provide a bridge between finance business processes and the technical implementation of the SAP system, ensuring that the software solutions meet organisational needs and align with best practices. 

The successful candidate will specifically support the design and deployment of a suitable solution for Energy Reporting in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules.

 
 
Core Responsibilities

 

· Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Working within finance and collaborating with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications or user stories for the development teams.
· Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to optimise and automate the Energy financial processes, aligning local procedures with a global SAP core model where applicable.
· Data Management & Migration Support: Assisting with data cleansing, defining migration rules, validating migrated data during system conversions (e.g., from SAP ECC to S/4HANA), and ensuring data integrity within the system.
· Project Collaboration: Working within multidisciplinary teams to support delivery of solutions on time and within scope. 

 

 

About you

Essential Skills and Qualifications

 

Qualifications

  • Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant.

 

Experience

  • Experience in a management accounting role, SAP experience is essential.

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of financial accounting processes (month-end/year-end close, consolidations, intercompany transactions, etc.)
  • Tools: Strong Excel skills and proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools like Power B
  • Competencies: Strong problem-solving, insight-generation, and communication skills are important for managing stakeholders and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
